James W. Haslam, Jr.

Principal

Having worked with residential developers and community associations since 2001, James, in his role as Director of Operations for HMS Golf, identified a discrepancy in service levels, operating systems, financial capabilities, and breadth of knowledge relative to golf, tennis, pool, and other community amenities, and decided to pursue the formation of Sixes Management Group. The vision for Sixes Management Group is to service residential communities with large scale amenity packages, employing the systems, policies, procedures and experience garnered through 30 years of HMS Golf management experience.

James works to ensure that SMG best practices and operating policies are consistently implemented, and that each managed association is providing the highest level of quality for the level of expense. James also develops and maintains the strategic positioning of the SMG franchise, is responsible for the development of new strategic relationships, and the placement of SMG and SMG facilities in the competitive landscape. Additionally, James assists in the daily management and operations of SMG managed communities, with particular emphasis on the unique knowledge and management required by large scale amenity packages located within residential communities.

James currently graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in 1999, where he was a Robert C. Byrd Scholar. James’s previous experience includes Mergers & Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley in New York, NY, as well as an analyst position with the Presidio Golf Real Estate Investment Trust.

 

Shanlee Isch

Controller

Shanlee Isch manages the daily financial operations of Sixes Management Group associations. Shanlee is responsible for maintaining financial continuity, strategic financial planning, financial reporting, and the development of financial relationships.

Shanlee earned a Bachelors degree in Accounting from St. Cloud State University.

 

Chris Traeger

Assistant Controller

Chris assists in the daily financial operations of Sixes Management Group managed associations. Chris is responsible for day to day association accounting functions, as well as the primary point of contact for homeowner and vendor requests relative to the accounting function.

Chris earned a degree in Marketing from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
